The Mammals' Food

This plant is known as Piñuela (Bromelia pinguin), it is very common in the Tropical Dry Forest and it is very important on the diet of some mammals like the collared peccary (Dicotyles tajacu) and the White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) that lives here in this type of forest. This animals feed on the fruits that the plant produces, so if you remain silent you might be able to see one of them in the surroundings.
