The Acid Soils Indicator

The Yayo tree (Rehdera trinervis) gives name to the trail you are standing right now, because of its abundance on the trail. It is well known that wherever Yayos grow acids soils or poor in nutrients are common, that is why this tree is considered an acid soils indicator. These soils are not adequate to any type of plant; in fact only resistant species can survive in them.
